Clipart is a graphic image of any type, illustrating any information, whether it is a background image, some object or an element, landscape or a family photograph. All graphic images in electronic form can be attributed to the term clipart and they are divided into two main groups, Bitmap (raster) cliparts, and vector cliparts.
Bitmap refers to an image having a pixel base, consisting of small pixels, squares, each of its own color, together they form an image that we perceive as a picture as a whole. Pixel images are obtained with the help of photography, scanning, raster editors of computer graphics that widely used in all areas of graphic design.
On the other hand, vector cliparts are originally developed by drawing. The most famous vector editors of computer graphics are CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator. Getting a vector image in another way is not possible. Vector images consist of vector (geometric) elements, both the simplest and complex curve lines, which are the contours of objects filled in the middle with a certain color or gradient, generally creating certain ornaments, elements, and drawings.
Cliparts, both raster, and vector are an integral part of the work of any designer, it is a kind of raw material from which various design projects are made and ideas for developing a layout are taken.
